So I am a person just sews, I actually use this for my cup of clips. It is out of the way on the side of the table and no more spilled clips. This product arrived on time, was packed well, and appeared new condition. Upon clamping it onto my "wedge," I found it impressively sturdy. I have included pics of what I tried. First is a mug from Ikea, then there's the all too familiar mason jar (wide-mouthed 24oz), and last there is a 44oz foam cup... and yes, I filled it to the top with water. I hope this gives people a better idea of the size and strength of this product. Keep in mind that my table/wedge was about 1.5 thick. Except for (miscalculation on my part) the hope that I could put TWO of these on the small edge of the table, I haven't been disappointed yet. Hope this review helps! BlessingsI bought thos for.my 15year old for his gaming desk. Works great even held my full 32 Oz double walled cup woth no problem. Ordering one for my desk toIt works like a clothespin, it grips the desk edge. A bit tricky if there is a table leg and not enough edge to grip. It holds my largest Tervis with water all day long. Easily movable to different position in seconds.I have lots of wooden outdoor chairs that sit on a gravel area, so I couldn’t use the drink holders that stab into the grass, and I didn’t want people to just put their drinks on the gravel. This is the easiest solution ever! The clip is plenty large enough to clear the arm of each chair (and then some) and holds a drink securely (cans or cups. I wouldn’t trust it with a stemmed wine glass).I did not Ike the way it clipped on to my table. I put a water bottle in it it fell off and spilled it everywhere. You need to make it so it sticks to the table better. The clamp is NOT STRONG ENOUGH! I will have to add something to make it stick to the table better! Poor quality.I use it at work all the time. The clamp broke when trying to remove the cardboard wedge packaging from the item. Broke with in 1 minute of taking it out of the packaging.
