This ended up being too big for a bedside table, so I put it in the office for storage. It looks really nice. My biggest complaint is excessive outgassing from the wood pieces. It smelled very strongly of chemicals the moment we opened the box, and the smell continued for over a week after it was assembled. It still smells inside when I open the drawers. I definitely would not put it in the bedroom, given the release of chemicals. This is a large great looking night stand. It could almost be a small dresser for socks and underwear if you chose to. It took me about an hour to assemble and there is a lot of pieces. It’s pretty dense and heavy too with the drawers installed. You will probably take it apart out of the box and move it piece by piece if you are building this by yourself. The drawers slide in and out smoothly and the finish is clean and came scratch free. Mine was delivered by UPS and I’m always scared they dent stuff but this came perfectly. The one problem I have with ready to build furniture is they have very high voc odors. This took a few weeks to dissipate and I can still smell it faintly. It has like a stinky feet smell. It’s very hard to discribe the smell but if you build wooden furniture you’ve probably experienced it. I left it outdoors on my covered deck to help but it didn’t do much. It’ll just take time. If you are sensitive to smells then make sure to buy this in advance and let it air out.All in all, it looks great and works great. I like it minus the smell. This nightstand was made in Cambodia. The dimensions are as shown in the listing, so make sure to measure your space because this nightstand is larger than standard sized nightstands. The two drawers are deep and spacious, and they work well if you need additional folded clothes storage. The color is darker than it appeared on my screen. I was expecting a light airy shade of gray and in person this shade looks much darker than I thought it would be.All pieces, including the bags with hardware were clearly and correctly labeled. The pre-drilled holes were in correct spaces. This nightstand has four legs that have to be screwed in into the corresponding threaded holes. Unfortunately one of those holes in my nightstand was missing the thread piece so there was no way to attach the leg. I ended up using a strong glue for wood that I had at home to glue that one leg to the nightstand. There were also several spots with paint issues, where the paint had created bubbles. One of those bubbles was on the corner of the top and within one day it chipped exposing the wood. There is also a spot on one of the sides with rather large indentation in the wood that has been painted over. Then there is the odor. This nightstand has a very strong chemical odor. I had to remove it from my teen’s room for several days because the odor was too difficult to deal with. After several days by an open window there’s still hint of that odor left.I really liked the idea of this spacious nightstand and I do like that it is made of thick and sturdy wood but the multiple issues I encountered don’t allow me to recommend it.It's lovely and has a lot of storage space just next to the bed. The matching dresser that I also purchased cosmopolitan style of the entire bedroom. This night stand is fantastic. There were no plastic or die-cast quick-locks; all the hardware was of high quality. all dowel, screw, or pocket screw-based joints. The first time, everything was accurate. The directions were clear. The entire assembling procedure was enjoyable and there were no unpleasant surprises. Highly suggested. It'll take you a little while to put together, but it's a solid piece of furniture. It had a bit of a funny smell at first, but that has subsided over a week or two. I got what I expected based on the images and am satisfied with the purchase. This really is a lovely nightstand/table. I've put mine in the dining room as I need more storage and it looks lush. It's sturdy and heavy. Having said that, they do thoughtfully include a warning about young children pulling furniture over and I'd agree if you have children around it would be a good idea to fix it to the wall. The quality of materials I would say equals that of the big name flat pack furniture company most of us have heard of.This brings me to the flat pack and assembly. All parts were clearly labeled and the instruction manual was also easy to read and understand. A good deal of logical thought had gone into explaining each step. The only thing I'd add is to make sure you have a drill with a flexible extension because the drawer front brackets are truly fiddly little things! The drill extension made light work of that issue tho.Unlike many build-it-yourself projects, this nightstand came with every part and piece of hardware necessary and they were clearly labeled! Also, all the drilled holes matched up with the screws. Assembly wasn't complicated. I will say you need to be careful which direction the panels go before you nail in the back piece. There were a few minor scratches on parts that aren't visible once the nightstand is put together. Including a little matching paint would have been nice. But the best part is that the nightstand is great looking, roomy, and feels sturdy.I love this night stand, it's a beautiful addition to my room and was super easy to assemble it's takes about an hour to put together. It's not too big, and it's so sturdy and the drawers are a great size and make for excellent storage.Definitely worth it
