Just put the desk together - and a couple of quick observations. It does wobble a little more than expected, but will likely work ok for my office desk. The most disappointing feature has to do with one of the main reasons I purchased this desk. All throughout the description of the desk, they talk about "the robust 1.75" thick woodgrain top."The top of the desk is NOT 1.75" thick. That is the thickness around the edges of the desk. The the bottom of the desk is recessed and the actual thickness of the desk is about 3/4" . A huge disappointment as it is going to be a challenge to install the hide-away keyboard I also bought from Amazon to install on this desk. I may have to send them both back if I am unable to get them to function properly together.Got this desk for my new work-from-home office, which is really just a corner in the spare bedroom. Works great for the purpose, and looks fantastic. One thing to caution is that I would recommend putting some kind of sealant over the raw edges next to the metal bands, just to protect against moisture/accidental spills since it is particle board. Other than that really happy with this desk. One of my requirements was a footrest-type bar across the bottom and this one is perfect.Okay, this desk was not super easy to assemble. I had a hard time putting the washers on so I left them off. Other than that the desk is pretty solid and I like the look of it. However, I do see what others were saying about the wobble when you rock it but it isn't really noticeable. Fyi I bought my desk used and it wasn't really damaged at all. Good looking out Amazon.I just got this desk today. The assembly was really easy I did it in 30 minutes. The metal frame did come a little dirty and with a little rust but barely noticeable honestly. The desk is very sturdy and beautiful for what you pay it’s so worth it. I love it.Looks okay when it's left alone. When put to work, the table just wants to dance. It's just too wobbly. I bought it for setting up a work desk but I realized very quickly that I've to be extremely gentle on my keyboard to reduce laptop movement. If I have a cup of coffee sitting on the desk, and I'm using the laptop, I've to be even more careful. The desk is not at all stable.I tightened every piece of hardware to rule out any possibilities of any assembling mistakes but that didn't help either. And I didn't have the patience to disassemble and return it.It's now more of a light-usage-desk occupying space. As far as my work goes, I'm now setup on an old bedroom dresser, which is very stable. This desk is great for the price. My only complaint is regarding sturdiness. I work from home and use this desk daily...the desk seats left to right.I like the look of this desk, even put together it looks good from a distance. It arrived to me already pre-scratched. The laminate over the pressboard is very, very thin. It was also more complicated to put together than needed. The pieces on the other side of the metal bar are separate. The screw on feet were fine to put in on one side and so tight it took plyers to screw them in on the other side. The feet are not strong enough plastic to take plyers, one of them broke. They look like they are meant to be adjustable, but the one side is so tight you cannot move it and the other side is so loose your only option is to screw it all the way in or it just wobbles. The entire desk wobbles. I was hoping it would be stable with 38 screws and it is not.I just bought a desk for $50 that took way less time to assemble and is solid as a rock, I wish I bought two. So then to get put this together a week later was beyond disappointing.SO not worth $150...I bought it open box, no missing pieces or anything. The desk is sturdy all this economy desks are not real wood tops sooo don’t expect to get a real wood top. But the covering used has texture. It looks very real, it is of a good material not thin like many desks i have owned or seen. Good size, easy to assemble, took me like 35 mins to get it assembled.
